With the switch to next generation systems and games gaining more momentum every day, publishers like Electronic Arts are beginning to lower prices on current-gen versions of games in order to cash in on what seems to be the last (or the next to last) round of games for the Xbox, PS2, and GameCube. Many of EA?s sports titles such as Madden NFL 06, NBA Live 06, and Tiger Woods 06 have seen price drops from the usual $49.99 price tags to a suggested retail of $29.99,and Medal of Honor European Assault is selling for only $19.99. This is in part due to the fact that most of these EA games have already been out for a number of months now. However, some newer titles such as Need for Speed: Most Wanted and the yet to be released, but much anticipated Black and Fight Night Round 3 will sell for a slightly reduced price of $39.99.
