Konami announced that Puzzle Chronicles is now available for download on PSP system and PSPgo. A demo for the Windows PC download of the game is also available today, allowing gamers to play through two complete zones and access mini games in up to an hour of gameplay. A full version of the Windows PC game will be launching later this year.
In Puzzle Chronicles, players assume the role of a hero fighting for freedom in the dark and savage lands of the Ashurin Empire. To succeed in their task of freeing their tribesmen from the Empire's control, gamers must complete a series of quests across various locations including battlefields, slave camps, desert crypts and the palace of the tyrannical Emperor. Using powerful physical and magical attacks, players will unleash devastating battle skills to gain the upper hand and defeat the numerous enemies that lie throughout the Empire.
Full of entertaining characters and enchanting environments, the new puzzle combat system is based on real-time action as players think fast and act strategically to defeat their opponents. Players can also challenge their friends to multiplayer battles via local WiFi on the Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable, or across the Internet on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC.
Puzzle Chronicles is rated E10+ by the ESRB and is now available on Nintendo DS, PSP and PSPgo download for $29.99. Downloadable versions of Puzzle Chronicles will be available via PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE® Arcade and Windows PC later this year.
