Global Star Software has announced that [i]Robotech: Invasion[/i] has shipped to retail stores in North America. The game is based on the third installment of the Robotech saga: a popular Japanese anime created by Harmony Gold about humans using huge robotic suits to protect the earth from alien invaders.
“[i]Robotech: Invasion[/i] is the game anime fans have been waiting for,” said Christoph Hartmann, Senior Vice President of Publishing at Global Star Software. “It blends classic first person shooter gameplay with the universe that has captivated Robotech fans worldwide for nearly 20 years.”
[i]Robotech: Invastion[/i], a sequel to [i]Robotech: Battlecry[/i], will have 15 single player missions as well as multiplayer online support including Xbox Live. This next installment will be available for the PlayStation2 and Xbox.
