Ascaron, a leading German computer game developer, is proud to announce its partnership with leading worldwide PC manufacturer Dell for the entire development cycle of the upcoming action role-playing game (RPG) SACRED 2 – Fallen Angel.
Dell will support the development of SACRED 2 – Fallen Angel through the title's release. Thanks to the all-new SACRED 2 engine, used in the eagerly-awaited sequel to the most successful German action RPG of all time, SACRED 2 will feature many new and never-before-seen game elements.
An analysis based on the experience gained during the development of SACRED 2's Xbox 360 version shows that a uniform hardware base guarantees optimum quality. At the beginning of 2007, the use of Dell computers in the development of SACRED 2 – Fallen Angel had already produced decisive results, and thus the cooperation of both companies was a logical step for both sides.
"To us, the development of gaming machines to fully satisfy the gaming community's high standards is a particularly attractive task," said Georg Zedlacher, Desktop & Notebook Brand Manager at Dell. "The close cooperation with Ascaron during the development phase is also very important to us, because that way we can ensure that our customers will enjoy the long-awaited SACRED 2 even more."
"Dell's support of the development of SACRED 2 – Fallen Angel has already had a positive impact," said Heiko tom Felde, Director of Publishing at Ascaron. "As with console development, a unified hardware base leads to higher product quality on release."
