A special-edition soundtrack for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is due for release in Japan on November 17 for only 1,050 yen ($9) to coincide with its debut stateside.
The CD contains a total of four tracks which include “Snake Eater” — the James Bond-like theme preformed by Cynthia Harrell, “Metal Gear Solid Main Theme” which is the theme song for the original MGS, but newly arranged and composed by Harry Gregson-Williams.
“Don’t Be Afraid” is another vocal song produced especially for the game, and the final track is an instrumental version of “Snake Eater”, so you can sing the lyrics yourself.
The disc will also include some CD-Extra features such as a video motage to the song “Snake Eater” if the disc is played in the PC. The second disc, if played in the PS2, will unlock a special camouflage design for Snake to wear in the game.
The two-CD original soundtrack release for the game will be released in Japan on December 15. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be released for the PlayStation 2 on December 16.
