Sony Online Entertainment and LucasArts are putting the final touches on what has been a work in progress for the game division of the ongoing Star Wars franchise.
Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Remodeled?
It’s been just over a year since Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided was released to the almost immediate disappointed of many of its first subscribers. The game featured a nearly insurmountable learning curve, a dramatically unbalanced PVP (Player versus Player) combat system, and one of the most difficult experience grinds of any MMORPG to date; no matter which profession(s) you chose. With these final publications will come the most consequential changes to the game since the early stages of beta testing. These changes include the complete restructuring of the combat system for both PVP and PVE (Player versus Enemy), the tweaking and completion of the faction war, and the new era of force-sensitivity and Jedi gameplay. The first of the changes will come in the month of August, the rest being slowly patched in during the development of the expansion pack, and definitely finished after its release.
First on the agenda is Publication 10, which will revert the system of force-sensitivity and
