Namco will ship a limited edition of its flagship fighter [i]Tekken 5[/i] alongside the regular edition, according to the company. Teaming up with Japan-based Hori, the [i]Limited Edition Tekken 5 Premium Bundle Set[/i] will include a copy of the game, a Hori customized peripheral and a special six-disc collector’s DVD case built for storing all of the games in the [i]Tekken[/i] series.
“We are pleased to continue our relationship with Hori and are confident this limited edition bundle set offers gamers the most complete and definitive Tekken 5 game play experience,” said Garry Cole, Executive Vice President at Namco.
“With so many peripherals in existence, we are committed at Hori to delivering the most unique and highest quality products available for gamers,” said Ray Hiyoshi at Hori, Inc. “Our newest peripheral was designed for Tekken 5 and those who love the best fighting game franchise of all time.”
The limited edition set will have a limited quantity of 20,000 units at specialty retailers, so the supply is just like the set: limited. [i]Tekken 5[/i] ships for the PlayStation 2 on March 15.
