Namco Bandai Games America Inc. announced today that its popular fighting franchise, [i]Tekken[/i], will make its fighting debut on the PSP this summer.
“Bringing the pain to the portable system” [i]TEKKEN: Dark Resurrection[/i] boasts two brand new characters, Lili and Dragunov, whose unique fighting styles and new moves will bring new blood to the ring as they go up against an impressive line up of classic [i]Tekken[/i] characters, including the return of Armor King.
In addition, double the customization items are available in [i]TEKKEN: Dark Resurrection[/i], allowing the player to transform their favorite characters to their liking, then sharing the look with friends on AD-HOC wireless multiplayer. There are also several min-games to play when you need a break from fighting and lick your wounds.
“We are very excited that the action-packed fighting world of Tekken is coming for the first time to the PSP system,” said Yoshi Niki, Business Unit Director at Namco Bandai Games America Inc. “Having the furious fighting action online through the multiplayer wireless connectivity will enhance the TEKKEN experience and make it the must have PSP system title in Summer 2006.”
