Oberon Media, the world’s leading multi-platform casual games company, announced an agreement with The Tetris Company, LLC, the licensor of the Tetris brand worldwide, to license the exclusive rights for the Tetris game on Internet-connected televisions. Beginning in Q1 of 2011, Oberon’s partners and the most innovative consumer electronics manufacturers will have the most popular video game of all time available directly on televisions and other TV related devices including Blu-ray players.

Oberon Media plans to launch with its first connected television partner in the first quarter of 2011. The game will feature stunning graphics and an all new mode, “Space Mode.” Space Mode takes users on a thrilling adventure where mini games and challenges are played in order to proceed to the next step in the journey. Space Mode mini games include “Light-Speed”, “Debris”, “Meteorite” and “Alien”.
