According to an interview between Nintendo Dream and Shigeru Miyamoto, Twilight Princess may not be the only game made for the Cube, and remade with Wii controls. Miyamoto goes on to explain that the similarities between the Cube and Wii technology make it relatively easy for Cube titles to be tweaked. Disappointingly, he didn’t specify any titles, but games like Wind Waker, Mario Superstar Baseball, Metroid Prime and Geist quickly come to mind as probable titles. However, we may also see some redone third party games as well.
However, Nintendo won’t be generous enough to just release patches for these games over WiiConnect 24, the Wii’s online service, but will likely rear a sub-$50 price tag. Though, on the positive side, Miyamoto said that gamers can expect a graphical overhaul to accompany the new controls.
