[I]X-Men: The Official Game[/I] from Activision will feature the voice talent of Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Alan Cummings, and Shawn Ashmore. All of the actors will be reprising their roles from the Twentieth Century Fox films: Jackman will voice Wolverine, Stewart will continue as Professor Charles Xavier, Cummings returns as Nightcrawler, and Ashmore as the young Iceman.[p]"Having these actors renew their movie characters in X-Men: The Official?Game immerses gamers in the X-Men movie universe," said Will Kassoy, vice?president of global brand management, Activision Publishing. "Players?will experience epic battles and uncover the events behind Nightcrawler's?mysterious disappearance and the roles the X-Men and Brotherhood play in the?upcoming film."[p]The game has been co-written by Zack Penn, one of the film’s screenwriters, and Chris Claremont, a comic book writer who worked on X-Men comics for 16 years. The storyline will serve as a prelude to the upcoming film [i]X-Men: The Last Stand[/i].[p][I]X-Men: The Official Game[/I] will be released on PC, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, and Gamecube with a rating of T for Teen.
