According to the announcement given by Xbox executives Robbie Bach, J Allard, Peter Moore and Chris Lewis, alongside special guests Cliff Bleszinski, lead designer for Epic Games Inc.; Todd Hollenshead, co-owner and CEO of id Software Inc.; and Gerhard Florin, executive vice president and general manager of International Publishing for Electronic Arts Inc., in addition to already confirmed launch titles [i]Madden NFL ?06[/i] and [i]Need for Speed: Most Wanted[/i], three additional titles were announced as being launch titles (or at least ?part of the impressive Christmas holiday portfolio,? according to the vague statement in the press release):
