Microsoft announces it is recalling 14.1 million of Xboxes for possible faulty power cords. It is estimated that one in every 10,000 units has a bad power cord. 7 burn cases and 23 cases of smoke damage have been reported worldwide.
Xboxes made before October 2004 for Europe and ones made before October 2003 for all other locations will need the new power cord.
